It's very common, especially early in tax season, for Auto-fill My Return to be missing tax slips. T4s aren't due to the CRA until the end of February and T3s until the end of March.

If you have a copy of the slip, you can simply enter it yourself. If not, you can normally ask your employer, bank, or whoever issued the slip for a copy.

You can also just wait until mid-April or so to file. The CRA has been fairly slow at processing slips and Auto-fill My Return can only send you information the CRA has processed. If, based on the date, we think you might be missing something from Auto-fill My Return and would be better off waiting to file, we'll warn you during the Review stage.

But we understand that not everyone can wait to file their return—if you need your refund sooner you can always check back again in mid-April and change your return if anything was missing. It's usually very simple to ReFILE your return.
