A passkey lets you sign in using your device, often with a face scan, fingerprint, or PIN. There's no email code to wait for.

To set one up, sign in, open the account menu, and choose Settings. Under Passkeys, select Add passkey and follow your device's prompts.

Next time, choose Use passkey on the sign-in screen. If your passkey isn't available, you can still request a code by email. You can remove a passkey you no longer use under Settings > Passkeys.
